Official Visit Highlights Strengthening of Pak-China Ties through CPEC and Broader Cooperation
Chinese Premier Li Qiang is set to embark on a bilateral visit to Pakistan on Monday at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as reported by Radio Pakistan.
Accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers and senior officials from various ministries, including Foreign Affairs, Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the China International Development Cooperation Agency, Premier Li aims to deepen the strategic partnership between the two nations.
The discussions between PM Shehbaz and Premier Li will cover a wide range of topics, with a significant focus on enhancing economic and trade relations, particularly through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The leaders will also engage in dialogue regarding regional and global developments.
In addition to their talks, Premier Li will meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and engage with parliamentary leaders and senior military officials.
This visit underscores the commitment of both Pakistan and China to their enduring all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.
