ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar revealed that PTI has yet to submit any recommendations regarding constitutional amendments, despite attending seven meetings of the Special Committee.
In a post on his X handle on Tuesday, the law minister criticized the “naysayers” of the proposed constitutional amendment, stating that they had failed to identify any section that contradicts basic human rights, public interest, the spirit of the Constitution, or the independence of the judiciary.
He further noted that the 26th constitutional amendment is being scrutinized solely from an opposition perspective, while PTI has not offered a single recommendation.
